Many times we have featured hyperrealistic paintings that look just like real life. We’re always amazed by them, although we see them quite often. Photographer Didier Massard does the exact opposite. He constructs intricate fantasy world dioramas and lights them in a way that the resulting photographs look like oil paintings or computer-generated artwork. So to recap, these are real photos of dioramas based on fantasy that look like paintings. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you can see the photos in person at Kopeikin Gallery, but the rest of us will just have to enjoy seeing the rest of the series at Didier Massard’s website.
